All designers consciously or unconsciously base their work on references. These can be historic (archives) or contemporary (environment), and can come from varied fields such as music, cinema, literature etc. What are these references? How do we (designers) translate them into our work? What kind of references do we use in our practice? How do we use and map our references?
The aim of the workshop is to identify, understand, explain, link and “map” our references.
