Futur Neue is an independent, Geneva-based, graphic design, typography and research design group, founded by Constance Delamadeleine (research history), Alex Dujet (art direction, graphic design and typography) and Sébastien Mathys (running now Duo d'Art, Geneva). Futur Neue covers specific works in areas of print and interactive design for cultural institutions, businesses and individuals. Futur Neue members are aslo involved in several satellites projects. Alex Dujet is a Co-founder of Extraset Type Foundry, and creates in 2017 Type Item Micro Edition, an auto initiated project related to experimental graphic design and typography. Constance Delamadelaine keeps going with research with a current position in a PhD Candidate Design History at Unil-Lausanne and ZHDK Zürich, and, she takes part in sgdtr.ch as a researcher for the project Swiss graphic design and typography revisited. Futur Neue is also involved as graphic design, typography and research teachers (currently at HEAD–Geneva in the visual communication department). Research Advisory is a service provided by Futur Neue with the aim to bridge the gap between research and designers. It provides independent designers with the opportunity to turn an early-stage idea into a research project and to harness the innovation potential of project.




Why


Any designers with an independent activity who would like to develop innovative ideas and looks from support and guidance. This service serves as an intermediary between the existing institutional structures and the designers.

• Identify the potential financing sources

• Provide scientific and technical guidance
• Help writing the proposal

Who


Constance Delamadeleine is a Research advisor, PhD researcher and a graphic designer with over 10 years of experience in the following areas: scientific research (history of design), research project management and teaching (Research methodologies and history of design).
